I am looking for scientists interested or already involved in the creation of diamond open access journals.

In geosciences and other academic disciplines, the past three years have seen the emergence of several scholar-led, non-profit and international diamond open access journals such as Seismica, Sedimentologika, Tektonika, AGC, Geomorphica, Open Paleontology, and jSEDI. These initiatives represent a collective effort to transform scholarly publishing into a more sustainable, inclusive, and community-driven model that moves away from dependence on commercial publishing houses.
This shift is backed by numerous universities, funding agencies (including the European Union), with many university libraries providing dedicated support services for researchers engaged in such publishing efforts.
Our goal is to build an international network to promote this approach through workshops and thematic seminars, connecting communities across disciplines. We also aim to develop starter kits and practical guides to help researchers adopt and implement diamond open access practices, starting within the Enlight network and expanding globally with time.
