Grounded in the values of equity and trust, and guided by the insights of lived experience, this collaboration will co-develop scalable tools, inclusive policy models, and curricula through a transdisciplinary academic approach.

Description: CROSS-ACCESS addresses how health, education, and legal systems respond to the needs of migrants with disabilities in cross-border and structurally vulnerable settings. It brings together expertise in disability law, public health, inclusive education, migration studies, and social work.

Researchers will collaborate on developing evidence-informed, rights-based models of access and support. The network encourages co-creation with affected communities and facilitates interdisciplinary knowledge exchange.

Activities:

- Comparative legal and policy analysis

- Development of inclusive teaching and training resources

- Tools for continuity of cross-border care

- Co-creation workshops with OPDs and migrant-led groups

- Joint academic outputs linked to Horizon Europe priorities

CROSS-ACCESS offers an opportunity to shape scalable tools and frameworks that inform inclusive policy, practice, and curriculum—building a strong foundation for long-term collaboration and systems transformation.
