Meet future teachers from different countries online, experience a week of on campus program together and create a project in international teams. The objective of the Immersive week is to provide students the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences through interactive methods and guided discussions on the topic of innovative teaching and learning skills with international peers, experts and practitioners.

Content
In this seminar, future teachers from Göttingen meet teaching students from other ENLIGHT partner universities. They will exchange ideas and experiences through interactive methods and guided discussions on the topic of innovative teaching and learning skills with international peers, experts and practitioners. Further, they can gather virtual intercultural experiences and will visit local schools in Göttingen. After 4 online sessions, they get together for an on-campus week, where they create their own podcast/video on innovative teaching and learning.
Learning outcomes
After the course, students will be able to:
- Combine professional competence and creativity in a product by synthesizing results, controversies and their own ideas or positions on the topic in media format (podcast or video)
- Go beyond the limits of their everyday communication routines
- Experiment with creative aesthetic variants of (media) design

How to apply?
This course is coordinated by the University of Göttingen and targets Bachelor as well as Master students in the field of teacher education of all subjects. The course focusses on upper secondary education (pupils from age 11 to 18).
Students from all ENLIGHT partner universities are eligible to participate.
The application deadline for students from ENLIGHT partner universities is the 15th of November 2023 (please also check for internal deadlines at your university). Students will be selected at each of these universities separately. Students interested in the course need to apply via their home university. They should contact their faculty or programme to verify whether it can fit in their curriculum and to ensure academic recognition of the credits obtained. A transcript of Records will be handed out latest one month after the course ended.
