Inclusion, equality and diversity are vital elements of ENLIGHT’s overarching vision. This implies making international student mobility accessible to the whole student body in terms of background, affluence, living situation e.g., for students with disabilities or health issues; from less favourable socio-economic backgrounds; with specific (cultural, religious, and personal) motivations. For this reason, ENLIGHT universities provide counselling and services for better use of existing mobility options for students from underrepresented groups and develop flexible learning paths ‘customised’ to students’ individual needs as well as tailored measures for inclusive mobility to remove barriers for international learning.
On Monday November 28th, Ghent University invites you for a first hybrid keynote of a seminar series on Multilingualism, organised in collaboration with the ENLIGHT partners. Prof. Kristina Hultgren, Professor of Sociolinguistics and Applied Linguistics and UKRI Future Leaders Fellow at The Open University in the United Kingdom, will speak about: "The hidden drivers of English as an academic language in Europe: Retheorizing the rise of English as an outcome of higher education governance reforms". Your host will be prof. Stef Slembrouck (Ghent University).
On 28 and 28 November, the University of Ghent and the University of Tartu organise a workshop on the various aspects of Russia’s wars in times of crises and exceptions.
The ENLIGHT network has launched a digital Course Catalogue, which allows ENLIGHT students to search for all the courses available for application in the ENLIGHT European University.
The catalogue covering all ENLIGHT universities makes it easier for students to find courses to study abroad and boost their studies according to their interests and field of study. All the information can be found in one place, and browsing is possible by key words, host university, instruction language, format, level, semester, or ECTS.
