Call for Nominations: ENLIGHT Impact Awards 2026

The ENLIGHT Impact Awards recognise initiatives developed within the ENLIGHT Alliance that bring together teams from at least three ENLIGHT partner universities. Eligible initiatives may be supported by the Alliance or developed independently within the ENLIGHT framework, including ENLIGHT Thematic Networks, ENLIGHT Incubator Grants, ENLIGHT+ supported initiatives, and other collaborative projects involving partners from across the Alliance.

Initiatives may focus on education and training, research and innovation, and/or service to society.

Each ENLIGHT partner university may nominate one to three initiatives through its internal selection process. The deadline for submitting nominations is 15 November 2026.

The awards offer more than recognition. Nominated initiatives will have the opportunity to:

  • strengthen their impact capabilities through dedicated training and tailored mentoring,
  • increase the visibility of their collaborative work across the ENLIGHT Alliance,
  • join the growing ENLIGHT Impact Community.

As part of the process, all nominated initiatives will be invited to present their impact approach during the ENLIGHT Impact Conference, taking place at Comenius University Bratislava on 11–12 February 2027.

To support applicants, ENLIGHT will also organise an online session, "Understanding Impact in the Academic Context", on 2 October 2026 (10:00–13:00 CET). The session is open to all participants involved in ENLIGHT collaborative initiatives. Registration details will be shared after the summer break.
